Dying for ideology

I read a number of bloggs, communications, documents and other interesting stuff every week, this week I came across a piece from Free (Foundation for Research on Economics and the environment about the Greens fundamental approach to gentically enhanced crops (Del Monte). It is very interesting and thought provoking and I happen to agree with the author in this piece.

Please read it and give me your opinions on it, is the ideology worth dying for? (rather, is the ideology worth letting people die for).
