The new minister for Culture has taken a firm hold on things that might enrage the average citizen in the Palestine Authority terrirtories. Attallah Abu al-Sibbah is very open and says he loves Jesus in the interview with the Guardian, however when the dancing comes up on the agenda al-Sibbah is everything but understanding.

"If the phenomenon of bellydancing spreads our people might react against it by killing people. We don't want our people to become like the Taliban."

Yes, we must forbid it, the scourge of bellydance killings have been unaddressed long enough, it is ranking up there with only cartoon drawing as the number one killer in the Middle East, it is good that they finally realise this...
